Re-implementation of sound effects with HTML5

Good day!

Would like to know the status of re-implementation of sound effects (under preferences-> sound) with HTML5.  Is this still a planned item after the demise of Flash?  I found one post from 2019 that seemed to indicate it was "in the queue" but I do not see it listed under "planned changes"/to-do list on the APRS.fi webpage as of this writing.

Thank you so much for all the hard work you have always put into this website!  Just yesterday, I purchased the iPhone app as a way to help support your efforts.

I've tried to fix it today. Could you test if it works fine on your
platform and browser?
