Hi,
Apparently there was a bug in the code which mixed up APRS positions with
AIS positions. This caused some confusion and a bit of crashing of the map
sometimes, as the data was inconsistent, and some stations with the same
callsign had both APRS and AIS data.
I've fixed that now, and APRS locations should no longer adjust AIS
positions, and APRS stations cannot act as receivers for AIS data. This
does also, as a side effect, prevent posting the position of an AIS
receiver using APRS.
But I've now fixed the documented (although awkward) method of uploading
the position of the AIS receiver from the web, it was broken on Leaflet
maps until now:
