I have searche the FAQ and this group and have not been able to find
an explanation for this error.
I go to aprs.fi and enter ND1L and I do not see the current position
on the map. I then click Raw packets and the following error is
displayed at the end of the list.

2010-12-11 16:12:01 UTC:
ND1L>qAR,KB1UAP-B,qAS,KB1UAP,qAS,86ADFE26,
qAS,200106F8020204020000000000000002:!4245.65N/07112.77W>/
[Destination callsign is not a valid AX.25 call]

I am the truistee for KB1UAP-B and would like to fix this issue but I
have no idea what is wrong.
Thank You in advance for any pointers to documentation and/or an
explanation of this error.

It means that the APRS packet's destination callsign is not valid. In this
case, there doesn't seem to be any destination callsign at all in the APRS
packet: ND1L>qAR,KB1UAP-B,....

The destination callsign should be right after the > character, before the
comma. If you look at the valid packets transmitted by your station
earlier, there's 'APDPRS' as the destination callsign. Now, instead,
there's the q construct (qAR) which should appear later, after the
destination callsign.

Depending on the software you are using to transmit these APRS packets,
you'll need to go and look that software's documentation, or ask that
software's support group or the software's author for help, how to make
the software transmit valid APRS packets.
