After clicking "Search" the tool will already indicate whether any actual
data is going to be produced, the data point counter is shown right above
the format selection:
Start date (YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM): 2012-05-17 05:59:29 UTC
End date (YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM): 2012-05-19 05:59:29 UTC
Positions stored: 59
The counter is only incremented when you choose to export the 59 (or 0)
points. I guess it should ignore the export request if the user tries to
export 0 points.
If there are other cases where the export fails to locate data, it'd be
interesting to hear about the details (callsign, date, format). Thanks!
