Aprs.fi app minimum beacon

Hello,

Has anyone noticed the minimum beacon really doesn't keep outbound packets to a minimum? I have mine set for 3 minutes and at times it beacons every 30 seconds or so.... If I move the slider and change the time it seems to clear up the glitch for a little while. Also I'm getting packets out of order. See attached.

Iphone 11 with TNC3 Mobileliked.

I'm certain this is an app issues, because I also have aprsDroid and have no issues.

Hi,

That'd be a nasty bug.

Could you please specify the callsign? Unfortunately the screen shot does
not include the receive timestamps of or callsigns of the transmitted
packet so it's a bit hard to go from here.

The delayed / out-of-order packets seem to be copies of packets which you
sent earlier (the original copy of the packet is visible earlier on in the
screen shot) and which have been delayed by digipeaters or igates. This is
something that the app can't do anything about.
