Information in waypoint balloons

It's been a while since I paid attention, but I'm not seeing information in the balloon when I click a position report waypoint in a mobile station's track.  The balloon for the current location for a station has time, lat/lon, comment, etc,  but sometimes clicking on a point along a path just gives a small balloon with just the call sign.  Did something change recently that I was not paying attention to?

Update: I just checked again, and the behavior appears intermittent
