Change email

I need to change the email address I use to log into aprs.fi.  (NOT the email address I use to log into Google Groups.)  I cannot find the link to do this on aprs.fi.  Found the link to change my password and callsign/nickname but not to change the email address.

Right, unfortunately there's no way to change it - you'll just have to
create a new account with the new email address and delete the old
account (can be done through account settings). Unfortunately you'll loose
the settings/saved filters and access to any web stations, if you've
uploaded positions through the web UI.

Now that the web-based position uploads feature is there, I should really
get around to doing the email address changing functionality.

I know this is an old post but, I can't imagine that not being able to update/change the email address associated with the aprs.fi account is still an issue. I have recently moved and was forced to change my email to another provider and really need to make that change for my aprs.fi account. And yes, I know I can create a new account and delete the old one but...

PLEASE consider adding a provision to change a member's email address.

Hi Hessu,

As the amsat.org email alias service will stop as per August 2024, this topic will become very relevant. After August, the forward service will not work anymore so e.g. a verification link emailed to an Amsat alias will not be received anymore.
Do you have any possability to have an email address changed?
