Hi Hessu and team,

I am operating the new Kenwood TM-D750, and I noticed that aprs.fi is currently identifying my station as using a legacy TM-D700.

Here is a raw packet from my station showing the Mic-E TOCALL sequence generated by the TM-D750:

TR3S5U,WIDE1-1,qAR,W1DMR-3:\c72n{H>/]"4p}&`

The TOCALL destination code is TR3S5U. Could this be added to the device lookup database so that the TM-D750 displays with its correct model name?

George, K1IG

A mic-e packet uses the tocall field to carry other data than the radio type used - mostly location data.

Me too. My D750 is showing up as a D700 on aprs.fi.

Since the new radio just recently hit the field, database(s) will have to be updated.
