APRS2 Tier2 Network Email and List

Greetings, all. Hes, please excuse the use of this list for this communication, as I understand it doesn't involve everyone here.

QST all Tier2 sysops. You may or may not have noticed that the Tier2 email and Google groups have done dark. In short, I do not wish to pay Google for the privilege of using their services. Therefore, I have, with the help of Javier, K4JH, set up our own email and forum servers for our own use. I would highly encourage everyone involved in the Tier2 network to join this forum, as it will be a place where general Tier2 information will be given. The web address for the form is https://board.aprs2.net. It uses the phpbb bulletin board interface. I welcome any comments or assistance with the administration of this page.

Additionally, @aprs2.net email addresses are now available to everyone in the network. Please send me a personal message at ad...@aprs2.net if you would like to receive an address. The service offers POP3, IMAP, and Roundcube web mail at https://mail.aprs2.net.

I apologize to anyone who was using the google services and was inconvenienced by the interruption of email service. By having our own services administered directly, I hope to avoid such interruptions in the future.
