Hi,

I wonder if Fedore Core would be preferred as an RPM distribution instead
of CentOS? I'm thinking I could set up a Fedora Core 38 build server
instead of CentOS Stream 8/9.

I would not like to add more platforms to maintain builds for, to limit
the workload, but I'm working on Fedora systems more these days anyway. So
If I'll add Fedore Core, I'll drop CentOS.

Opinions?

Would you be thinking to then just distribute a container running Fedora CoreOS for people to run ?
Is the real issue building for both EL8 and EL9 and trying to maintain environments ?

No, I'm only looking at distributing RPMs as before.

I'd rather keep the number of supported operating systems to a minimum.
The issue is maintaining packaging support for many distributions at the
same time, along with build containers for all of them.

I was not really considering RHEL at all. Just Fedora, as that is what
we're using at work, so I get some exposure to it there.
