Remember:

Only install released versions of aprsc on your T2 server!

Please do not pick a random development snapshot from git and install
that. They can be in some random, broken state of development and
potentially cause havoc on the IS network. Even I myself do not run those
on the IS - I only have a read-only connection to the development systems
so if the development build suddendly decides to corrupt packets, they do
not go to the real APRS-IS.

aprsc source code releases, which I have some confidence on ("I believe
this will work OK and not break the whole world") are available here:

http://he.fi/aprsc/down/

Use that URL if you need to build from source code. Thank you!

If you're running Debian, Ubuntu or Centos, the binary packages built from
those source code releases are the best choice:

http://he.fi/aprsc/INSTALLING.html

Git sources are for development, not for real use. Thanks!

You need to add YUM repo file.
See at http://he.fi/aprsc/INSTALLING.html

Look for section CentOS: Installing using yum

setcap is not availble (and it seems not in Centos5 at least not native,
I am trying to source what to download and compile to satisfy it

What about if you reinstall or reconfigure the repo data?

Any other error message that you can share? I believe that Hessu also want to see that.

The problem is not that, the problem is related that there is no Centos5
packages availble, hence I need to compile manually to rpm packages to
make upgrade in the future easy.
