With heavy hearts we have to report that APRIR member Franca Pedretti passed away on September 22nd.
She had turned 81 years old last month, and her family reports she remained a force to be reckoned with until the very end. Head of the English Department at IES "Olga Cossettini" in the 1980's, she was then Rectora between 1990 and 1995.
She has left an indelible mark on all her students at ARCI, the PGC (the language school she founded) and especially the generations of teachers who studied Language IV under her guidance.
Her memory will live on in all our hearts.
