Jiai no Kamae - 慈愛の構え- “Kindness and Love Posture” or “Shaolin salute”- Chā Shǒu.
Also known as Hōran no Kamae - 抱卵の構え“Egg in the Nest Posture” or Open Hand covers the Fist. In karate Shotokan “Jiai no Kamae” is the starting position of the kata Jion, Jitte and Jiin.
