I installed it and when i drag to the trash it is just normal
activity. I've watched YouTube and read a blog and seem to doing it
right.
I have a new AirMac 10.7. Installed 1.1.7 AppTrap. Restarted just in
case that was it.
That is all I can think of. Let me know what to do if you can.
Thanks.

Hey, sorry for taking so long with the reply. School has gotten in the way of everything else.

Is the background process running? Check Activity Monitor (in /Applications/Utilities) for a process called AppTrap.

Kamaran,

Thanks for the reply. Hope school goes well.
I checked Activity Monitor. AppTrap is on. "Kind" was Intel 64bit. Not sure if that is right or not.

Anyway, looking forward to using this.

thanks

I have the same behavior,  Drag and drop the *.app to the trash and nothing else happens, any other file is remove, I checked the service in the activity monitor and it is running.

Should i check something else?.

Thank you for your app.

I also have the same issue on one of my machines.
I have two machines both with Mountain Lion. On the one AppTrap work like expected. Everytime I delete an application a windows appears asking me to leave or move files. On the other machine absolutely nothing happens.

The only difference of my two machines is that the one where AppTrap works correctly was initially installed with Snow Leopard and than updated to Lion and Mountain Lion. The other machine was initially installed with Lion.
OK there is another thing different. On the machine where AppTrap is not working I use a second HD to store user profiles. Can this maybe break something?

Best regards

Robert
