First,, set BackGroundColor to None, then set the Background image.

Thanks a lot for your reply sir it works.
Now this time i am facing a new difficulty, i am designing a gallery app in app inventor which have around 50 images but images are of different pixel sizes so some of them view streched and some so small, so is there any fixed pixel size so that images can be seen best fitted on screen.

Hi,
Sir actually i am working on a quiz kind of app in which first question is displayed at top and next available to choose from.
Here my confusion is that can i use label for  displaying question but problem is that i cant have custom shape for question box so i am using button as a question box but again problem is that if i have to type something that extands to a number of lines then how is it possible till now i have tried to write text but it crosses over the box but i want it to be written on next line.

Thanks for your kind guidance.

Add a \n character sequence to force a line feed where you want the line break. That is a backslash followed by a lower case 'n'

You can type these characters in both the Designer properties textboxes and in a text block in the Blocks Editor.
