Having trouble connecting Companion 2.30 with demo site.

I've installed the Ai2LiveComplete Companion app (version 2.30) on a couple different tablets. Trying to connect it to the demo site for testing. When I scan the QR code (or type it in) it just sits on that page.

Are there additional steps I need to take for it to connect?

Tablets are Lenovo running Android 4.0.4 and Asus running Android 4.2.1

Any thoughts?

That is the companion I have (v 2.30). I'm trying to connect to the test site (http://ai-hossein.appspot.com/)

I had to uninstall the Companion from the app store (v 2.27) before I could get the one from the link to work correctly.
