Some time ago there was a discussion regarding IZArc using
download.com as its main download location, which caused a problem in
grabbing it through AppSnap. Ganesh was able to work around it using
snapfiles as a source.
Recently I noticed that the Firefox addon DownThemAll actually shows
the referer URL when you go to download something with it. I thought
that was kind of cool, and thought I would revisit the "IZArc problem"
Well, guess what. IZArc actually hosts the installer on its own domain
now. That's kind of cool. I'm a little rusty on my db.ini syntax, just
thought I would let you know :)
And by the way I have switched to 7-Zip + 7-Zip Theme Manager to make
it pretty because I have read IZArc doesn't work on 64-bit and I am
going 64-bit so I can take advantage of the greater amount of memory
allowed.
And the URLs for download.com still stink, too :-o
