Foreclosure Cost
How much does it really cost a community when a bank forecloses on a
property? In a few moments we threw around components of cost like
depreciation of neighboring homes, depreciation of the property itself
when it gets stripped, and loss of school-age population for
neighboring schools. Jeff Bartow, of the Southwest Organizing
Project, can get some housing experts together to come up with more of
these cost components. Ultimately, is foreclosure the right decision
for taxpayers and residents of Chicago?

Comparative Appraisals
Find the same house or apartment in two different Chicago
neighborhoods, and you'll see two wildly different prices...right?
Build an app that will crowdsource home prices all over the city as an
advocacy tool and maybe also an aid for those looking to buy or rent a
property.
