Who’s my landlord? Rebooted.
Enter information on who owns the building, but also on any complaints
that have been filed (snow removal issues, noise), building code
violations, the 911 calls originating in the building or its vicinity,
and accessibility compliance. This app would allow Chicago residents
much fuller information about a building before they moved into it, as

information from which to draw.
Affordable housing transparency:
CECD would like to know what companies the city currently works with
on its affordable housing developments. Where is affordable housing
located? What about housing options for people who don’t have
vouchers? This app could bring all the kinds of public and affordable
housing options together in one place. As a further step, it might
compare average income to average cost of housing by location. Even
better, what about the average salary earned by someone working in
that location compared to the average cost of housing? That is, is it
possible to live and work here?
