Build an app that tells the story of Chicago through locations. In a
mobile version, signing in to a certain place might unlock new facts;
on the web, search by address or neighborhood to find historic
landmarks nearby. The app could integrate local businesses as well,
but mostly would say: look around!

Unified Permitting
It would make life much easier for businesses if they could find
information about all the permits and licenses they need from the city
in one place. Create a portal that shows everything needed for
restaurants, banks, beauty parlors, and everyone else. Extra points
if it saves information so business owners don't have to duplicate
effort.
