Firstly, I would like to thank you for the initiative in creating a
solid infrastructure for deployment of appengine compatible webapps
outside of the google cloud.

We have been looking at doing a similar thing ourselves, also with
integration with HBase, and as such we are keen to assist in this
community venture.

As a start, I would like to propose a new logo for the appscale
project, which I believe may assist in community adoption. I have
attached it to the files section of this group - any feedback would be
appreciated.

Thanks much for your interest in AppScale and suggestion for the
new logo. We really like your suggestion! However, we prefer to
stick with
our current logo for consistency (we have been using it widely
for awhile now).

We are happy to hear also of your interest in the HBase backend
within AppScale. Let us know if you have suggestions or extensions
that you would like to see or contribute.
