AppScale 1.7.0 |

Last week we released AppScale 1.6.9, so now we're starting our sprint for AppScale 1.7.0! As usual, we've got a Trello board up with the features we have planned for that release. We'll be doing two weeks of development and one week of QA, following our normal process, so stay tuned! In particular, we've already added support to upload apps in place (matching how App Engine's appcfg.py operates), and are also slated to add Java Channel API support and Statistics support.

Next month, our Meetup Group, SB Cloud Meetup, is having its second meetup, titled "DevOps in the Cloud". Our friends at RightScale will be presenting and telling us about how they do DevOps and how it helps speed up their release cycles. If you're anywhere near Santa Barbara, come on by!
