Hi everyone,
Does running AppScale with Docker can autoscale one node to two nodes ?

Hello,
currently Docker images are considered Dev/Test and they are designed
to be single instances. There is no way to autoscale it since we don't
have a driver (we call it agent) that can autonomously start other
containers.

There are two ways that AppScale can scale up in response to increased request activity for an application. If the machines in the deployment already have enough resources to run additional AppServer instances (runtime processes for your app), AppScale will start more of those on the machines that are already running.
If the machines in the deployment do not have enough resources to handle additional instances, the deployment can start more machines in order to run the instances there. The deployment can only do this if it has details about the infrastructure it is running on as well as credentials to start those machines. You can generate a template that documents some of these details with 'appscale init cloud'. At this time, AppScale has agents that allow it to automatically start machines in GCE, AWS, Azure, and Eucalyptus.
