Apps For Climate enters a new phase this week. Over 50 apps met the eligibility criteria and are now on display on the competition website.
For those who have been watching the competition and wondering what
developers might cook up, now comes the fun part: trying out the dozens
of interesting apps and voting for your favorites. Check them out, using
the instructions below.
The deadline for public voting is April 27th, and the winner in the public voting category will receive $5,000.
How to Vote
- You must create an account and login to vote. Click here to create an account if you have not done so already. Then click here to login.
- After you login, click the "Apps For Climate" competition, and click the "Vote on Submissions" badge on the right side.
- The table contains the name, description, and author for each
qualifying App, plus a 5-star control for you to rate each app. The
description is supplied by the author. Click the App name to see
complete details of the App, including the URL, instructions, screen
shots, and a video overview. Use this information to evaluate the Apps
that interest you and try the Apps for yourself. You can also comment on
each App at the bottom of the page.
- Rate each App by clicking the 5-star
control either on the summary table or on the right side of the full App
description page. You may vote for as many or as few Apps as you wish.
Note that the summary table only includes Apps that you
have not rated yet. To see Apps that you have already rated, click the
"Personal" tab at the top, then click the "My 5 Star Ratings" badge on the right side (this display shows all your rating, not just your 5-star ones).
