Suggestion for the voting system.

Hi,
I just want to say that the voting system look good and the UI is
really nice, although I think you can improve the way it is
implemented; I undestand that it might be hard to change it at this
point of the contest, but you can take the following feedback for
further challenges.
I found unethic the way good apps are getting 1 star votes for no
reason other than lowering their ratings; this can easily be done
because the system lets users vote for multiple apps (and you can see
that some of them have no good intentions in their votes, which I find
unfair); I think it will be fair and well seen to let users vote for
only 1 app at the time.
Also, It could be nice to force the authors to vote for other
submissons different than the ones they have submitted.

Thanks for the feedback. We were able to make one change, so you can now modify votes you have already cast. Click on the "Personal" tab and then click "My 5-star ratings" (the table will show all your votes, not just the 5-star votes).

I agree on your feedback. Very poor on the part of the contestants to attempt to lower a ranking purely based on the intention of making a users app look bad. Surely all of the apps do not deserve a rating of 1 star. These apps are amazing!

Seems that you're right about the voting with bad intentions. At first
I was glad to see that anybody even bothered to vote for my apps since
nobody knows I entered this challenge, but then I saw that the views
of my YouTube videos were lower than the number of votes I got.
I mean YouTube = 12 views (2 of which were mine from when I uploaded,
so net 10), but votes = 18 one stars. So 8 people voted for me without
even looking at my video. Actually more than 8 people if I assume the
judges looked at my video.

Hilarious, now I got 48 one-star votes on my app, but only 14 total
views on my YouTube video.
Guess my app is really a crash :)
