I have noticed many 8 inch tablets no longer have GPS that we need to use Avare.  Does anyone have a list of those that have GPS built in?

Thanks for the replies. My thoughts were more about what can we do when
these older smaller devices are no longer supported. The Lenovo M9 may be
the most recent/viable option, though I've read that Lenovo isn't keeping
up with security updates.

The Lenovo M8 is keeping up reasonably well (currently on April 5 security
level). I don't know how long that'll continue, but for $80 new I don't
mind if I have to upgrade it every few years, if I can still get the same
small physical size.

Version 16 disabled audio player for windows till we can figure out. You
can now turn on/off the traffic layer.

We need a way to import and export flight plans. We can store them and use
them on other devices.

AvareX is built with data migration in mind. If we can find someone willing
to back port that to Avare...

Well, it seems to work now....all I did was turn off the tablet and restart
tablet/google/android....now, all loaded fps and new fps work with winds.
However, turning off the tablet and restarting is my normal procedure after
and before each flight as flying/Avare is all I use the tablet for...and to
keep batt up that is normal procedure. So this had been done several times
already yesterday and today....can't explain it but I'll take it for
now....SO, disregard initial msg...thanks. Roger
