Share site for downloads

I know you would rather have people pay for subscriptions than download 'free' versions of 'old Avare', but is the share site ever going to be restored for new downloads?  

Maybe I'm the only one who needs to be able to download APK files of AvareX updates.

Share site will not be up again. One of the main reasons is hackers messing with keys embedded in the files. Now the apps are cloud connected that's a security risk. 

If you sign up, tell me your email address of sign up and I can waive the fee if you can't pay for the subscription. If you don't have play store then I would say get a new device.

I managed to compile Avare 11.1.5 (the legacy one) with the "pay to download more than two charts" disabled. In this version all users are "entitled" for all the features. I'm strong proponent of "open source" idea.

Let me know if you want me to send(email) you the APK. 

I love the legacy Avare because it works on older Android devices. I have a LG tablet that has been working flawlessly (for more than 15 years). I don't want to change my tablet (the new ones are ... )

Thanks, TJ.  I have a copy of Avare 11.0.5 as a backup.  I mostly use X tho, and would only need to load a later version if it was broken (ie, a change in maps format, etc).  As long as I have the basic functions as a backup, its all I need.

Its the updates to X that I need, but again, I just need the APK for my backup tablet, so as long as nothing gets screwed up, I can use my primary.  I'll probably just see if I can build an APK from github/andriod studio.

Rather ironic, I have put up with the "buy new hardware" answer from Micro$oft since the 90s, and it was the same answer from Foreflight that made me reject them out of hand, and brought me here.
