I flew with AvareX for the first time yesterday. It was an epic fail for me. It comes up fine on my device (Android 11) but as soon as I turn on my ADS-B In box (Dynon DRX), the screen goes black. The airplane icon (flying sword?) is visible in the center of the screen. The screen would occasionally show the selected TAC chart for just a second then return to black. I had this same issue with the legacy app and fixed it by selecting the device's internal GPS source. I don't see a place in AvareX to do that. The SRC (GPS source?) field along the top of the app was showing Ext (external?). When I shut off my ADS-B In box, it showed Int (Internal?).

Any ideas?

You are feeding it location from two sources. It's going to switch back and forth. And one location source is sending location of 0,0 which is on equator.
Disable GPS on your phone or iPad or disable it on the ADSB receiver.
