Hello, I entered a routing from KSQL to KSCK, via SJC V334 SUNOL MOD KSCK.

When I entered this into the flight planner, it routed to a waypoint AUGEY on another V334 in Alaska. Maybe because there isn't another waypoint between SJC and SUNOL?

Picture 2 is the SJC to Sunol leg of V334 in the Bay Area, Picture 3 is the V334 in Alaska.

Thank you!

Thank you!

That really is weird.  I thought (maybe incorrectly) Victor airways were
uniquely numbered, maybe I'm wrong?  If they aren't uniquely numbered
than yes that is a parsing error, if they are supposed to be unique then
the FAA is to blame.

Interesting.  NOT an IFR pilot, but Is the altitude the problem? V334 has 5000 above it, and your flight planning is shown at 6000.

The number "5000" you are referring to is the MEA or Minimum Enroute Altitude, it is simply the altitude that guarantees you both obstacle clearance and navigational (VOR) reception along the airway.  This is different from the MOCA or Minimum Obstacle Clearance Altitude which would have been denoted with an asterisk if it was present.

Interesting...did it again with this routing: KSQL OAK V6 SAC KSAC...this time diverted to to Hawaii (via the BLUSH intersection)

Good find. Will fix soon. AK has disjointed airways with same number as mainland.
