How to enter a reroute to an existing AvareX flight plan?

I continue my journey into AvareX and have a couple of questions related to route planning.

First, in the event of a substantial reroute from ATC mid-flight, is there a way to enter the list of new waypoints as a group rather than one at a time?  For example, consider the route SBJ V3 HFD KBDL.  It can be entered that way and AvareX will parse the waypoints and enter them as the route.  If the destination changes from KBDL to KGON, then I'm accustomed to being able to delete KBDL and add the following on one line:  T216 GON KGON.  That would add all the waypoints along T216 plus GON and KGON to the existing route (minus KBDL).

I can see how to add each waypoint individually, but even with this small reroute example that would be onerous.  Is there a way to add them as a group in AvareX?

Second, even when I add waypoints or airways individually to build up a route/reroute. they don't seem to go in an order that I can predict.  Airways always seem to position themselves at the end of the list of waypoints and require movement into the proper position.  On the other hand, waypoints sometimes position themselves properly (in the order of their entry), but other times they may show up in a different order (and require re-ordering within the route page after the fact).

How do I add individual waypoints and airways to a new or existing route so that they always show up in the order of entry and don't require re-ordering.
