Pixel Tablet - No GPS Signal

Hi,

I just upgraded to a new Pixel Tablet and I am having trouble with the GPS in Avare. The GPS works fine in other apps ( both Google and non-Google), but every time I start Avare it asks if I want to "Turn on GPS" which takes me to the permissions page that shows Avare already has permission and the GPS is on. When I press back I return to the Avare map, but a short time later in see "No GPS Signal". 

Any ideas what to try?

FWIW, AvareX seems to work fine.

No idea. Seems like a permission issue. But you said you already took care of it.
