Need a new Android pad

HI, my ond Samsung Tab A is shutting off without warning about every hr.  It must be 5-7 yrs old, so I don't blame it.  I only use this pad for Avare and am looking for an inexpensive pad to run in my Aeronca.  Suggestions?  Thanks, Don

Another thought on this.  My first experience with Avare was about 10+ yrs ago, using a "Nexus" pad.  My recollection is that the "HSI" feature worked with that pad.  I hasn't worked with any pads or android phones since.  Are there pads that have internal gyros that will show the horizon, etc. on the Avare app?

Haha, my Nexus 2013 which I really like, is starting to have issues. I only use it for AVARE. Was thinking of an inexpensive upgrade to a Samsung Tab A on eBay! ...not good to hear you experience. Also looking for an inexpensive upgrade.

I replaced the battery on my 2013 Nexus and it's working perfect again. About a 10-15 minute job and the battery is on amazon.
