unfortunately it is too old. This is not an Avare issue, but the
problem is the Android tablet will not accept the current encryption
certificates and because the registration contains what Google
considers PII (Personal Identifying Information) the transaction
needs to be encrypted. The registration email address is also used
to file flight plans on your behalf via Leidos (1800WXBrief), again
it must be encrypted.
I've run into the problem with one of my older tablets, I can no
longer connect to the Google playstore with it, the tablet is
running 7.0. I can still "side load" applications but encryption
becomes a problem. I believe the Chrome browser on Android uses its
own encryption engine and does not rely on the certificates stored
on the tablet which is why it continues to work.
Side note, Android 7.0 was released in August 2016, almost 8 years
ago.

I searched the conversation history and found several from a few

successfully downloaded the software but when I try to register my

15/20 seconds. I am trying to install Avare on a Samsund Tab S
that is running Android 6.0.1. Is that version too old? Thanks.
