Hi everyone.
A question about Track store, and my answer, if someone can add to it please post here. TV

>>Just a question though: is there a way to save (store) the flight tracking?<<

Hi.
By using your Menu > Track Off / On your .kml file is stored in your device in Internal Storage > com.ds.avare > Tracks  that you can retrieve and play it on Google Earth or if you have a PC / Win OS you can use TrackMaker free app.
You can also send it to your Email Menu > Flight Tracking> Automatic Track Post -select destination.
You can also load a Flight Plan / view a track, if stored in Menu > Storage and Downloads > User Defined Waypoints/Plans but it will only play back / display your Way points on the Chart, no track line.
I posted your  message and this response in Avare Forum, see below, for you to follow up and get answer to other questions. TV

Thanks for the summary, TV. I'll add that in recent versions Avare will
leave Tracks On as the default setting once you've chosen it. That is,
if you tap Map/Menu/TracksOff it toggles to TracksOn and will stay that
way for subsequent flights. I used to often forget to turn Tracks On
before flights when I wanted to save the track file. Now I just leave
it on, and every time I launch Avare it opens a new Track file. The
downside is there's a collection of tiny track files from all the times
I launch Avare to look something up or do flight planning. Easy enough
to just delete those short ones. Most are 898 bytes and the rest are 0
bytes, so I just use a File Manager app occasionally to mark and delete
them all. I believe there's a request on the Dev Team's feature list to
even auto-delete those files that don't have a track in some future
Avare version.

I often prefer Google Maps, so I use this free website to convert the
files and automatically display them in gMaps:
http://gpsvisualizer.com/
I've used this method to share flight tracks with passengers by sending
them a screencap of the map or a link to it that they can explore.
Sometimes it's helpful in figuring out where something of interest is,
that we noticed and/or photographed during a flight.
