FAA chose not to show it if not on the map.

Think it might be because it is shown as a gliderport instead of an airport in the FAA data.  How about the idea of showing gliderports?  Most if not all would be perfectly usable for single engine ops on an emergency.

Version 59 has fixes for a big that was limiting frequencies and sometimes not showing any info as reported by Brett. It's put on the store for update.

With AvareX 0.57 and current charts/data, FLF (TX23) is depicted on the sectional AvareX uses.  I can locate TX23 using the FIND icon (bottom right) and go Direct, add to plan, etc. The "airport" page has no frequencies (Main) but does have an airport diagram (AD). So TX23 is "on the map" and in the database.  However, a longpress on the map will not load the TX23 "airport" page.

There is inconsistency in lookups by identifier vs. coordinates, etc. which impact the user experience.

I recommend adding an "airport" icon to the bottom row of icons (MAP, PLATE, PLAN, FIND) for the most recent airport lookup (Main, AD, etc.).

Blue Skies!
