Lynx NGT-9000 Avare vs. AvareX

Hi,  I'm running Avare or AvareX on a Samsung Tab S9  With the orignal Avare. I've configured IO for Port 4000, "listen" is checked.  and it "just works"  Traffic shows up just fine.

I tried AvareX 0.0.55+55 today (after a reboot, and had never started original Avare. So the port should have been available.)  Never saw any traffic.   Not sure what to try to debug this.  IO menu seems to only reference bluetooth and doesn't have a trace to save the info.  The top bar showed SRC "External"  but that was the only hint that it might be connected.   I verified Traffic layer was enabled..

I was busy and didn't have a copilot to fly, so I had to go back to avare,  which came right up showing lots of traffic. 

Suggestions greatly appreciated.
