Turn Plate off....

I am at a loss as to how to remove or turn off a plate.  When it is superimposed on a chart view I find no means to remove it.  Please advise...

Hi John,

Go to Map Layers (bottom right). Scroll down to Plate. There you can change opacity or turn it off.

Well Dave thanks for that reply. I knew that all the time however with that function actually does is Jim's the plate layer to nothing so the plate still there in the background. So the next plate I want to haul up for maybe another site or maybe if I just want to go back to it I got to keep flipping back and forth to that dimming feature. What we need is a way to x out the plate and not monkey with the dimming feature I think that's a design issue. It's awkward the way it is now. Thanks for your reply I know you're not the designer.

Interesting. For me the plate completely disappears whether I use the slider or tap on the icon to the left of the word "Plate". This is for both Android and Windows for me.

Here's a screenshot of what it looks like on my phone and my pad, Androids. I don't see the word plate anywhere on this page but there is the superimposed plate. I don't want to have to go to the views or I should say the layers icon and dim and bring back the intensity for every time I want to change or get rid of a plate.  Maybe you can show me where the word plate is on yours and that icon you talked about.

Layers button then click on Plate icon for full on or full off.
