Loading/switching Plates, etc.

I'm running AvareX v0.112+112 on a Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite with Android 14.  Since starting to use AvareX a few months ago I've had problems with the plates loading slowly and sometimes at least appearing to lock up.  Switching to the plates page pretty much invariably starts off with "No plates available" - briefly when starting to use the app but most times, after flying for a while, it'll take 10 or more seconds - every time.  That's especially true for toggling between plates and between plates and the map.  Sometimes the app seems to lock up (black screen - I think with a faint green circle going around in most cases).  These tend to take a LONG time to resolve and I've tried rebooting on occasion.  That SEEMS to shorten up the transitions for a while but it gets back to the same issue in a while.  

I've tried deleting the app and reloading (with several restarts in between) with no real difference.  This is the newest of three similar tabs and it seems similar on the other two as well (an older Samsung plus an ONN).

This is completely different from my experience on the regular Avare.  Any suggestions?

Upgrade to the current version there were a bunch of performance improvements since 114.

118 was just released this morning.

I wonder if it would help if you went in and cleared the cache on that app?

I assumed deleting the app, restarting, and and reloading the app would do that. Is there something else i need to do to clear the cache?
