Filter out my own ADSB position

when Im flying with my stratux and Avare on there is always triangle with my N number over the little airplane indicating my position on the moving map. It clutters the view and a few times I've been startled thinking there was another plane right on top of me. Is there a way to remove it?

ours does that too and I haven't been able to find a way to get rid of it.

I meant to respond to the mailing list but responded privately...

It is a function of the stratux unit, not Avare, You need to go into the settings of the stratux unit and enter your 16bit hex address to be excluded.
