Flight planning

Ok, I'm trying to do some basic things here. I've been using Avare and AvareX for several years. At some point during a recent upgrade something changed.

I wanted to create a simple flight plan, KTVL KRNO.

So I am located at KTVL I enter the flight plan page from the Plan icon at the bottom of the screen. Select Actions -> Create in the Route input box enter KTVL KRNO. Select Create as Entered , The flight plan  window comes up but there is no plan. The screen says No Waypoints in Plan.

I return to the Map screen,  and long press on the KRNO airport, expecting to get the add to plan screen,  It returns the gps coordinates but no KRNO information. In the middle of the screen it says No data available.

I have downloaded  the current ,

Databases

Sectional

TAC

IFR Low

Flyway

Plates

CSup

Elevation 

for the Northwest and Southwest.

The Layers that are turned on are,

Nav

Chart.

In order to correct this problem I have deleted AvareX, reinstalled version v0.0.111+111, Shut off the tablet, restarted. 

One last info the GPS is active and showing the current position.

What am I doing wrong ?

Jeff also reported the same issue. Don't know what it is other than database corruption. Version 112 will probably address if but for now, reinstall databases.

Ok, I go to the downloads page open the databases tab, mark the 2 databases for deletion and select update. The application says all charts are up to date. I try to slide the database files to the left or right; that sometimes deletes items, but to no affect. 

How do I delete the databases , so I can reinstall them as recommended above ?

The only one that needs to be deleted is "DatabaseX"

go to Menu -> Downloads then click on Databases, one that expands press on "DatabaseX" and you should get a green garbage can with an "X" in it, next press Download at the top and it'll get deleted.  

To redownload it, highlight DatabaseX and choose download again.

Just redownloaded the x database, no joy similar problem persist.
