Does AVARE have a way to determine enroute waypoints?  Here is an example -
Route > KSRE - KMHL
Distance > 283 nm
Heading > 032°

I want to make a stop at approximately halfway.  If I use a starting location (i.e. KSRE), a heading (i.e. 032°), and a distance (i.e. 241 for halfway), Foreflight understands it written in KSRE/032/241 or KSRE032241 format and marks the waypoint on the route.  Once it marks it, I look at the airports with fuel and services around the location.

I'm hoping AVARE can do something similar.  That's my easy way to find stops on long routes.

You can specify a wedding name (vor, ndb, intersection) followed by the radial and distance.

Example- SAX vor 275 radial 100 miles enter the position as

SAX275100

Avare will convert that to a gps position that can be used as a way point

Thanks, that does work with NAVAIDS. I wonder if we can get them to add airports?
