Back on September 10, 2012 a groundbreaking new app for aviators launched on the Google Play Store for Android devices. It didn't take long for word to get out about Avare, a new basic aerial navigation app. It had been created by an Android expert, and generously donated by him to benefit fellow pilots.
As if that weren't enough work by a highly paid expert given freely to benefit the aviation community, he continued rapidly improving it. It continued to evolve rapidly for many years, with ever more capabilities, options and features. All those many hours of work continued to be donated by that expert who was joined by others who also donated their time and expertise.
For me, all this continues to be inspiring and greatly appreciated. I've used Avare exclusively flying GA safely in every U.S. state, Canadian province, Bahamas, and even extensively in New Zealand (in rentals).
Now, with the impressive addition of the rapidly advancing capabilities of AvareX aviators can get even more capabilities. Even more pilots can use them now, with a far wider choice of devices.
Thanks and Congratulations to Zubair and the Apps4Av Dev Team!⭐
