(This may already be in the works for AvareX)  When in the Plates section on the bottom menu bar, the minimums legend at the bottom of an approach plate is difficult to see behind the bottom menu bars.  Showing the plate on the Map is easy to see everything you need, but would be nice if the bottom of the approach plate was not behind the menu bars at the bottom of the Plate menu to be able to easily see the minimums.

May already do this? Putting the plate layer on the map itself allows you to then see the bottom pretty clearly.  I agree you can't see it well if viewing in the actual plate screen

I liked the OG Avare approach plate better than FltplanGo's overlay.

As others have said, OG Avare better presents traffic than FPGo.  It nabigates better and overall was better, no feature of FltPlanGo was "better" than OG Avare, to me.

I agree David D.,

Having the plate on the map is clear and easy to see.  And when flying that is where I usually use the plate (overlayed on the map).  But when flight planning and looking at the different approaches available for the destination and alternate, it's nice to just stay on the Plates screen looking at the approach options instead of going back an forth to the Map screen to see the entire plate.

Rich,

I agree.  I'm a fan of Avare's approach/look/handling of the plates and traffic (and everything else, really).  I like the direction AvareX is going with the Alpha version and looking forward to Beta.

It's not that the plate is not fully visible, right? You can see the plate after zooming in. You just can't see when its fully zoomed out.

Correct.  If you zoom in you can see more of the Minimums Legend, but then you can't see the Plan View or the rest of the plate while looking at the different minimums available while zoomed in on the minimums.  And as you can see in this screenshot, zoomed in still has the Circling minimums behind the menu at the bottom.  I feel it would be nice and less steps while looking at an approach plate to avoid zooming in and out to see the information available on the plate.
