Scary. I hope you're not facing the dreaded Factory Reset. Mine's
working fine on the current version, and I don't recall seeing any
similar reports recently.

One thing I don't do anymore and thus know nothing about on current
versions (or even if it's still possible), is installing Avare and all
its files onto the SD card. I wonder if that might help.
> Rebooted tablet several time
With computers it sometimes helps to turn it completely off and then
start it ("cold boot") rather than use the built-in "restart" ("warm
boot") method. Don't know if that's a factor with Android tablets.

Other ideas:
*Something went funky during Avare's first Database Download attempt due
to what caused the Android file space error. The "easy" solution is to
Un/Re-install Avare, and ensure that all the Permissions it needs are
turned on in Android.
*Misbehaving apps, like maybe something else running in the background
that's messing up Avare. Many apps try to take over our Android
devices, automatically launching themselves during startup and running
in the background. That leads well into the technical weeds beyond what
I know, but could be something to look into. The "easy" solution would
be a Factory Reset and only installing Avare.
*Defective RAM. The hardware does sometimes go funky, and is very
difficult to fix for anyone but a hardware expert. The "easy" solution
is a new tablet.
I hope some of this may be helpful, and that you'll post followups on
what you try and your eventual solution.
