Although I've successfully filed a flight plan and then canceled it from Avare, I'm a little confused about filing a flight plan from the software.  Some of it may be due to my lack of understanding of the program and my stubbornness to use the ICAO format, even though I have a few months reprieve I guess I need to accept it and move on...

Questions -

1) I fly two different aircraft on a regular basis is there any way to store them both in Avare for filing purposes? Simply choose the one I want and the defaults are there? which leads me to -
2) How can I set more fields for default values, specifically a) Fuel endurance b) Other info ?

My other questions are related to the aircraft equipment fields which I know aren't completely an Avare question but..

My aircraft has for equipment
1) ADF
2) DME
3) ILS
4) VOR
5) GPS (430W)
6) mode C transponder

it used to be so easy, just /G, but If I'm reading correctly My aircraft equipment list would be SBGDRFZ and because I'm using the Z in the equipment list I need to specify in the other info box the GPS capabilities which I believe is listed for my unit as PBN/C2D2O2S1  Do I also list NAV/RNVD1E2A1  .  The Other info field brings me back to my original question 2, if I have to fill out the "other info" box, how do I define certain values as defaults?

Thanks, Jeff

At this time Avare store only 1 aircraft.
For setting additional field, make a flight plan in simulation mode, download weather, then activate it. Then prepare that WXB form.
