New to Avare, what are the symbols?

I had a couple of flights in the Chicago area this weekend, and I'm trying to learn Avare, coupled with my Stratux. Other aircraft are represented by dots and a line. I saw both green and red dots. I understand that the short line indicates the aircraft's direction, but what do the different colors mean? I couldn't sort that one out.

Length also shows speed.

Altitude relative to you.

After you fly Avare for a while you'll find it pretty easy to learn, but
you can also read everything starting with the in-app Help tab (Map ->
Menu -> Help). There are also some videos online, though I don't know
if any cover StratuX.
