Avare I/O won't listen to Stratux

I just bought a new Samsung Tablet A7-Lite.   It connected to my Starux via WIFI just fine.

However, when I go to Avare (Just installed) to the I/O Tab  it shows the Port 4000 and the Litsen box is checked BUT nothing happens.   It doesn't show the data being send by the Startux.   If I uncheck and recheck the Listen Box It shows -

Started

Starting WiFi Input

Creating socket to listen on Port 4000

WiFi Input Disconnected

Stopped

Stopping WiFi Input

--Output---

Stratux status shows Connected  Tracking 7 Satlettes and even a couple of Traffic on the 1090.    Stratux works with old Samsung Galaxay S10 with old Avare I/O External and also a IPAd and IPhone

What if you point the tablet's browser and point it directly at the stratux (192.168.10.1)? Does it connect? Does it stay connected?

The way I would lose connection regularly when I first got my device was that the tablet would see that stratux wifi does not offer internet, and it would dump that connection in favor of a local WiFi signal that does offer internet. Did you remember that config for the new tablet?

Simon's post, plus make sure all power savings are off.

The tablet OS needs to know to use the connection even with no internet.  Forget the Stratux connection name on the wifi list, then refresh and select the Stratux, you want the popup that says connect even without internet.

All my Samsung devices have a "power saving" option that kills StratuX
in Avare if the setting is anything other than Off. Actually, I think it
may be the "background data" sub-setting, but I just turn power saving
off to fly and it's on my post-flight checklist to turn back on.

You might also consider a "debloat" on your new tablet, to increase
battery life and reduce the chance of something interfering with Avare.
I'm about to post a short description of the process.

Please post a pirep about your new tablet. I see that Costco has them
for $130 right now, and other Avare users might be interested in how it
works with Avare.

I actually already have downloaded all of them, but when I push the 3d tab with topographic selected, it shows a black screen and says "Download Chart", and the notification is not clickable.

Not quite sure what you are looking for, the 3D screen provides somewhat of a 3D view over an aviation chart, which personally I don't find it of any value but YMMV.

The Terrain and shaded relief charts would be visible by choosing terrain or shaded relief for the map type, neither of which I use as again I don't find them of value to me when flying.

The Canadian topographic charts were included as they were the only thing freely available to Avare from Canada that could be published.

Regardless the topographic, terrain, and shaded relief charts are not provided by the FAA and are not for navigation.  In addition those charts haven't been updated in a very long time.

I've had same issue with  iLevil and my Samsung Tab A6, or my Huawei Mate 10 Pro. Both used to work great with the separate I/O add-on Avare used to use, but neither has worked since Avare update that consolidated that in primary app. I have not received any response from Avare support and had to subscribe to Naviator to get ADSB in.  Tab and phone stay connected iLevil, they just don't get data.
