Sectional Maps

I have had Avare downloaded on my tablet for a really long time, but recently I have noticed that while using the App the screen in black and says I need to download the sectional for that area.  As I have reviewed the avaliable downloads in the download area of the app, (Sectional) doesn't appear anymore, but it is in the list of maps in the upper right hand corner on the download section where it asks to (Get, Update, Delete, or icon) for all of the different maps proivded.

Can someone please tell what I'm missing,  or has something changed.

make sure you have the database loaded in addition to the appropriate sectional, and the cycle date matches between them. (current cycle 2510, new cycle 2511 starts this coming Thursday at 0900z)

I have the database downloaded, but the area where I used to have to download se tonal like Slat Lake City, Las Vegas or Phoenix doesn't show up in the list to download.  

Has it changed ax far as where I get that data?

you need to upgrade your version of Avare, the downloads have changed, there are now 8 different areas, the names used are the same as the Chart Supplement names and cover approximately the same area.

According to the App store I have the latest version.  I looked at the App properties for Avare and it says I have Version 11.0.4. 

So do these sectional charts not exist anymore?

Make sure you are loading the "Southwest" chart.

Yes, they still exist, but you no longer download individual charts by the city name.  Instead, they are in groups, named by region.  As was pointed out above, you probably need to download the Southwest group, from the VFR Sectional Charts.  Click the little arrow to the left of where it says "VFR Sectional Charts" on the download menu to see the list.

You will also probably want to add other stuff from the Southwest group, like plates and chart supplements.

I downloaded them and the TAC chart doesn't load. It still shows up black and says I need to download it.
