Avarex with Stratus 3

I tried using Stratus 3 with Avarex on a Samsung s22 phone, Tab S2, and Ipad gen 8 via wifi, and couldn't get it to work. Has anyone else tested using Stratus 3? Thx

have you tried switching the Stratus 3 from Foreflight to Open mode?  open mode emulates the garmin protocol and has worked for me in the past.

Foreflight forces its mode upon connection from my partners.  Then I use the  ADSB-Monitor android app to switch modes.

Thanks. I'll give that try.
Also,  the new app no longer works with my DUAL 170 from either my phone or tab. I tested it with the old avare app, and it still works there. It was working with one of the older beta versions, so I'm not sure when it stopped.

I think this is because bluetooth hasn't been enabled in AvareX yet.  I'm wondering about a timeline on that.

Yes, that's true, Chris, but I understood he was talking about the Dual 170, which isn't a Stratux, to the best of my knowledge.

And since AvareX doesn't support bluetooth at this time, I still think that is why Bill's Dual170 isn't working.

AvareX will never support BT. I should not say never because we could look into adding it to just Android. iOS does not allow Bluetooth unless if you certify with Apple. That's not the best effort for us.

Would it be possible in the future to add a USB/Serial option for Stratux (in) and Autopilot (out)? Stratux can output to a serial port as well. Just a thought (I already have Stratux sending a serial signal to my GRT EFIS and I use the WiFi for Avare).
