Hi Victoria--
There are two aspects to the "KML feature".
First is the ability for Avare to record your track/heading/speed/alt in
a KML compatible format. You can then import this into GoogleEarth and
have a look at your flight. This action is enabled via
Preferences/Flight Tracking/Enable Tracking.
The second is the ability to use GoogleEarth to define waypoints/points
of interest. You do this by starting GE, then plot your points. Save
them as a KML formatted file. You can then copy this file onto your
device in the directory that Avare is configured to look at
(Preferences/Storage and Downloads/User Defined Waypoints & Plans). When
Avare starts it looks for all KML (and GPX) files to read those points
in. You can then use those points in flight plans or DirectTo actions.
Does this answer your question ?
